Unamarie Clibon, Pharm. D., M. D., medical director of The Center, grew up in Southern California. She received her Doctor of
Pharmacy degree from the University of California, San Francisco, where she was honored as the most outstanding graduate.
Dr. Clibon moved to San Antonio to attend the University of Texas Health Science Center. While in medical school, she supervised
the intravenous nutrition program.
In 1984, Dr. Clibon received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, where she was elected
to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She also was the recipient of awards in surgery and pathology.
Dr. Clibon returned to San Antonio to complete training in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. Dr. Clibon is
certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Medical Oncology.
In 1992, Dr. Clibon moved to Fort Worth with her daughter. She speaks frequently on the subject of oncology drug therapies and
has published numerous articles. She has contributed entire chapters to three medical textbooks and has a special interest,
as well as research experience, in breast cancer therapy.
