William Jordan, D. O., F. A. C. O. I., who grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, has served as president of The Center since its beginning
in 1994. Dr. Jordan is board certified in medical oncology and internal medicine. He has completed National Boards and is licensed
by the State Boards of Medicine in Texas, Hawaii, Michigan and Tennessee.
Dr. Jordan received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree in 1973 from the University of Health Sciences/Kansas City College
of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri, and served his residency in internal medicine at Botsford General Hospital
in Detroit, Michigan. He was a fellow of medical oncology and a faculty member at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Hospital
and Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Jordan is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Texas Society of Clinical Oncology, Southwest Oncology
Group, Tarrant County Oncology Alliance and M. D. Anderson Associates. He has authored research findings in several national
medical journals and has lectured widely.
Dr. Jordan is an avid runner and participates in many outdoor activities. He married his high-school sweetheart, Becky, and
they have three children and six grandchildren.
