Linda Benningfield, RN, OCN, received an associate's degree in nursing from Tarrant County Junior College in 1990 and was a
member of a national honor society. She received her oncology certification from the Oncology Nursing Society in 1993. From
1988 to 1992, Linda worked at Harris Methodist Hospital and was instrumental in setting up the hospital's bone marrow transplant
unit. She joined The Center in 1993 as an oncology nurse and became a Site Leader in 1997.
Linda is married with 2 sons, Brian, a Detective with the Lake Worth Police Department, and Michael, currently serving with
the Army's 4th Infantry Division. Linda also has 3 grandchildren, Caitlyn, LV, and Ashleigh. In her spare time, she enjoys golfing
and reading.
